Integrated control panel in the door frame for machine room-less elevators

Advantages:

  • No need to allocate and prepare space at the top floor for placing the control panel in machine room-less elevators.
  • Does not create a visually disruptive appearance at the top floor of the building.
  • The absence of contactors in the MD-STO drive prevents the spread of contactor noise from the shaft panel to the building.
  • Operations such as recall control, manual brake release, and power cut-off with the main switch can be easily performed without entering the shaft.
  • Adjustment and diagnostic menu access can be easily done without entering the shaft.
  • Even if the self-contained backup power supply (UPS) fails, brake release and floor landing operations can still be performed using another UPS or an external 220 VAC power supply connected to the terminals in the door frame.
